DRAINAGE AREA - 3,363 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2015 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage datum is arbitrary.
REMARKS - Many canals and small farm laterals divert water for irrigation from the Boise River above this site.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 9,490 ft³/s, Mar. 31, 2017, gage height, 14.82 ft; minimum discharge, 62 ft³/s, Mar. 18, 2016, gage height, 5.67 ft; minimum gage height, 5.15 ft, Mar. 13, 2020.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous water temperature data were collected from November 2015 to current year.
REMARKS - Numerical uncertainty is not currently computed for time-series water-quality records but qualitative ratings are provided based on professional judgment.
  • Water Year 2016: Records good except for period July 27, 28, records fair. 96.1% of daily values will be reported.
  • Water Year 2017: The practice of using qualitative ratings to describe data accuracy was discontinued in water year 2017.
