LOCATION - Lat 45°56'29", long 119°17'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Benton County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17070101, on McNary Dam on the Columbia River, 1.5 mi northeast of the town of Umatilla OR, at mile 292.3

INSTRUMENTATION - Water quality monitor with a 1-hour logging interval since 2005.
REMARKS - The USACE manages spill levels for fish passage to avoid exceeding 120% total dissolved gas (TDG) in project tailraces and 115% TDG in the forebay of the next project downstream consistent with the current percent TDG limits.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum recorded, 22.8°C, July 30, 2009 and August 2, 2021; minimum recorded, 3.7°C, March 11, 2011, but may have been higher or lower during periods of missing record.
