LOCATION - Lat 64°48'03", long 147°13'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.30, T.1 S., R.3 E., Fairbanks North Star Borough, AK, Hydrologic Unit 19080306, (Fairbanks C-1 quad), 3.1 mi downstream from Moose Creek Dam, 1.4 mi upstream from Potlatch Creek, 5 mi northeast of North Pole, and 14.7 mi east of Fairbanks.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,460 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1979 to current year (no winter record after 1996).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 466.40 ft NAVD88 from differential GPS. Prior to 1991, altitude of gage reported as 490 ft. National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. 
REMARKS - Regulation during high-flow periods began July 9, 1981 at Moose Creek Dam 2.7 mi upstream. GOES satellite telemetry at station.
