LOCATION - Lat 21°37'14", long 158°00'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Honolulu County, HI, Hydrologic Unit 20060000, on left bank 50 ft. upstream of Pupukea Military Road, and 3.5 mi. southeast of Maunawai.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.15 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Data set digital elevation model data dated September 2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated May 2008, using UTM Zone 4 projection, NAD 83 horizontal datum.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR HI-14-1: Drainage Area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1963 to September 2001, September 2019 to current year, November 2013 to September 2019 (gage-height only).  Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1961 and 1963.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 590 ft above mean sea level (from topographic map).
REMARKS - The peak for Water Year 2017 occurred on February 28, 2017. Although the actual peak is unknown, the logger recorded a gage height of 10.35 ft. at 2040 hrs and therefore the peak is at least 10.35 ft.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,810 ft³/s November 20, 1990, gage height, 11.34 ft; no flow at times.
