16854500 Ugum River above Talofofo Falls, near Talofofo, Guam
LOCATION - Lat 13°19'20.7", long -144°41'0.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Guam County, GM, Hydrologic Unit 22010000, located about 300 ft upstream from Talofofo Falls, 0.9 mi north of NASA Tracking Station, and 3.5 mi southwest of main intersection in Talofofo village.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.92 mi². from automated delineation using 5-meter digital elevation model, using UTM Zone 55N projection, NAD83 HARN horizontal datum. The 5-m digital elevation model was derived from a digital terrain model, created by Joint Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Technical Center of Expertise, dated May 2007.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 130 ft, from topographic map. Prior to June 2003, at site 35 ft upstream at same datum.
REMARKS - No known diversions upstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 14,700 ft³/s, July 5, 2002, gage height, 21.5 ft, from flood-marks at site and datum then in use, from rating curve extended above 350 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurements at gage heights 14.2 ft and 21.5 ft.; minimum 2.7 ft³/s, May 17-19, 24, 25, 1999.
