LOCATION - Lat 17°57'20", long 66°09'02" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Guayama Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, 1 mi (1.61 km) east of the intersection of Highway 3 with State Road 707, 0.28 mi (0.45 km) south of Highway 3, and 0.25 mi (0.40 km) northwest of the Phillip Petroleum oil refinery.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth undefined. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 33 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF 4-IN CASING., 2.83 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 18, 2002, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 24, 1991 to current.
GAGE - Monthly measurement with chalked tape.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Observation well used for remediation efforts in a Superfund site.
