LOCATION - Lat 25°10'28.71", long 80°43'23.20" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, Southern shore of Seven Palm Lake near connection to Middle Lake, 13 mi east-northeast of Flamingo.

DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2009 to current year.

GAGE - Self-logging water quality monitor with pressure sensor. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).

REMARKS - Prior to September 1, 2010 salinity was computed directly from specific conductance using a conversion within the continuous water quality monitor. From September 1, 2010 to current year. Salinity is computed from corrected specific conductance data using a rating in the NWIS database. Salinity and water temperature records are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Salinity and water temperature 15 minute data can also be accessed online at http://sofia.usgs.gov/. Daily values are available online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
