LOCATION - Lat 25°11'26.14", long 80°38'20.59" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in T.60 S., R.37 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, located at the mouth of Taylor River on the left bank, approximately 10 mi northwest of Key Largo.

DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1995 to current year.

GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).

REMARKS - Daily mean discharge is not published. The discharge for this station is more affected by wind than astronomical tides. Discharge at wind-driven sites may require a different filter (subtidal) than the Godin low-pass filter. Mean monthly discharge tables for the period of record are published. Mean monthly discharge tables only include months with a complete record of daily mean discharges. Discharge and gage height records are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Elevation of the top water temperature and salinity sensor located at -3.02 ft NAVD 88. Salinity and water temperature records are available in the files of the U. S. Geological Survey.
