LOCATION - Lat 25°30'30.18", long 80°29'54.84" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.35, T.56 S., R.38 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, At Institute of Food and Agricultural Science Station on Waldin Drive (SW 280th Street), 3.3 mi northwest of Homestead, and 4.3 mi west of U.S. Highway 1.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Daily lowest extreme for the period of record has been revised on October 9, 2018 and supersede those published WDR-US-1971 to 2017.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 20 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 10.33 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelf, 13.48 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 30, 1990 to Jul. 26, 2000; Top of base, 13.68 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 25, 2001 to present. Land-surface datum is 8.67 ft (Revised),  above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1932 to September 1956, (S-196). October 1956 to current year, (S-196A).
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform.
COOPERATION - Miami-Dade County and South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - This well replaced S-196 in January 1956.
