SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

DISCHARGE: May 2006 to September 2008. May 2010 to current year.

GAGE HEIGHT: May 2006 to September 2008. May 2010 to current year.

GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage encoder, acoustic stage sensor, and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage is 7.67 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Daily mean discharge was computed from filtered unit value discharge data. The Godin low-pass filter was used to remove principal tidal frequencies from unit values. Positive discharge is generally to the southwest and negative discharge to the northeast. Discharge and gage height data are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey and online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

DISCHARGE: Maximum positive discharge (unfiltered), 5,831 CFS Sept. 26, 2022; maximum negative discharge (unfiltered), 12,328 CFS Sept. 28, 2022.

GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum gage height, 14.48 ft Sept. 10, 2017 (debris line from Hurricane Irma, accuracy > 0.4 ft); minimum, 4.05 ft Jan. 3, 2008.
