LOCATION - Lat 26°23'19.5", long 80°07'45.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.11, T.47 S., R.42 E., Palm Beach County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, on the east bank of E-3 canal approximately 0.5 mi south of NW 51st Street (Yamato Road) at Boca Raton.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 138 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 88 ft, bottom of last opening 138 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 18.7 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 20.31 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 1, 1984 to Mar. 8, 2000; Top of casing, 18.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Mar. 7, 2000 to present. Land-surface datum is 17.2 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1984 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - City of Boca Raton and South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - The well is obstructed or collapsed at a depth of 84 ft as of September 18, 2001. Based on hydrographic comparison against historical records from this site and records from nearby stations, the well is considered to remain in good hydrologic communication with the aquifer.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 12.49 ft NGVD, Jun. 13, 2023; lowest, 1.81 ft below NGVD, Feb. 2, 2009.
