LOCATION - Lat 26°31'42", long 81°07'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.34, T.45 S., R.32 E., Hendry County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 17 ft east of County Road 833, .3 mi south of Dooley Grade Road and 19 mi northeast of Immokalee.
REVISIONS HISTORY - The 2014 and 2015 water year datum and measuring point were published in error. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point is top of casing, 1.13 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1978 to present.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 90 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 70 ft, bottom of last opening 90 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 29 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 30.13 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Aug. 31, 1977 to Feb. 3, 2022; Top of casing, 30.1 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 4, 2021 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1978 to November 1984 (daily), March 1984 to September 1994 (monthly), October 1994 to September 1995, May 2003 to October 2018 (continuous), November 2018 January 2021 (monthly), February 2021 to current.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform, with pressure transducer.
REMARKS - Well was also used for salinity monitoring from February 1978 to April 1993. Chloride and conductivity profiles are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. The well was originally open to the aquifer from 70 to 90 ft. The well has become obstructed at a depth of 77 ft but is in hydrologic communication with the aquifer. Records of water levels prior to September 1980 are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 28.35 ft above NGVD29, Sept. 28, 2022; lowest measured, 19.17 ft NGVD, Apr. 29, 1981.
