LOCATION - Lat 33°23'48", long 90°50'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.20, T.18 N., R.6 W., Washington County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030207, located at SW end of Bridge over the Bogue Phalia, 1.5 miles south of Hwy 82 (at Fratesi's Grocery) on Tribbet Road. Local Aquifer code 112MRVA, National Aquifer code N100MSRVVL.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 39 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined. Well was drilled with a 2-inch PVC casing to a depth of 39.19 feet, and screened at an interval of 38-39 feet below land surface. Top of well casing was originally set at 2.98 feet above land surface, reset to 3.44 feet, and raised .31 feet with a Y-insert on Aug 04, 2014.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 117.19 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Undefined, 3.75 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 4, 2014 to present. Measuring point (MP 1) is at Y-insert in top of 2-inch PVC well casing, 3.75 feet above land surface, 120.94 feet, gage datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water-level measurement, Apr 2014 (well install/pumped), Aug 2014 to current.
GAGE - A Sutron 8210 DCP housed in a 3 by 2 by 2-foot fiberglass Hoffman box is attached to the right downstream bridge abutment over the Bogue Phalia (07288650). A buried sensor line connects the gage to the well with a KPSI submersible pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - This well is maintained in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (Funding lapsed in March of 2018) as part of the Lower Mississippi River Delta Alluvial GW/SW interaction program.
