  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 33°39'04", long 90°12'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.29, T.21 N., R.1 E., Leflore County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030202, downstream of county (Sunny Side) road left bridge abutment at Money, about 9 miles north of Greenwood, 193 miles above confluence at Vicksburg.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

REVISION STATEMENT:

GW Elevation NAVD88 and GW Temperature were revised, with continuous data deleted from 2022-03-10 (00:00) to 2022-04-22 (11:45).
Evidence of equipment malfunction included: differences between historical trend and trend following sensor replacement, interaction with SW site, and the more obvious equipment malfunction patterns between 2022-04-22 and 2022-05-10 (which were deleted in real time).

Temperature was revised from 2022-02-10 (00:00) to 2023-12-05 (00:00) and deletion continued to the time of sensor replacement on 2024-03-27. For revised period, data did not follow historical seasonal trends or those at comparison site 119M0072 QUITMAN (Allen). Divergence from reference readings was evident from early 2023. Before sensor replacement in 2024, malfunction was evident in GW Level data in the same sensor.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 28.5 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined. Well was drilled with a 2-inch well PVC casing to a depth of 28.5 feet with a 1-foot screen at 28.25 feet. Top of well casing was set at 2.35 feet above land surface, re-fitted with a GW sensor Y-insert at 2.90 feet (at lip) above land surface on Aug 05, 2014.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 129.45 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of 2-inch PVC casing, 2.35 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 15, 2014 to Aug. 17, 2021; top of Y-fitting bushing set directly on top of 2-inch PVC-casing, 2.9 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 15, 2014 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water-level measurement, April 15, 2014: Continuous water-level record, Aug 05, 2015 to current
GAGE - Water-level recorder. Land surface altitude at well is assumed at 129.45 feet above NAVD. Recorder is located near the left downstream bridge abutment.  A buried sensor line/conduit connects the gauge to the well in the downstream left flood plain.
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE), Vicksburg District
REMARKS - Aug 05, 2014 to current, water level records considered good, except for missing periods due to equipment malfunctions or floods, which ard not estimated or gap filled over 120 minutes.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - Aug 06, 2014 to current.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Highest reported water level, 2.58 feet below land surface datum on Feb 24, 2019

Maximum discrete water level, 5.65 feet below LSD or 8.55 feet below MP on May 19, 2020

Lowest reported water level, 16.21 feet below land surface datum on Dec 27, 2023

* Minimum discrete water level, 19.7 feet below LSD or 22.6 feet below MP on Jul 25, 2017

* Well pumped sample
