LOCATION - Lat 36°44'11.34", long 76°00'28.29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Virginia Beach City, VA, Hydrologic Unit 03010205, 0.7 mi east on Flannagans Lane from the intersection of Flannagans Lane and Princess Anne Road.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 115 ft. Upper casing diameter 3 in; top of first opening 100 ft, bottom of last opening 110 ft. Drilled water well, screened 100 to 110 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9.95 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF PVC CASING INDICATED BY BLACK MARK ON CASING, 1.58 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 1, 1999 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1981, December 1999 to current year. Unpublished records available prior to October 2002 in files of the USGS.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 60-minute record interval. Prior to Apr. 7, 2004, occasional measurement with chalked tape by USGS personnel.
REMARKS - Well is located in Yorktown-Eastover aquifer of Miocene-Pliocene age.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 5.55 ft below land-surface datum, Feb. 25, 1981; lowest recorded, 19.33 ft below land-surface datum, July 4, 2008.
