REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 305.77 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 307 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

GAGE - Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed November 1, 1956. Stevens model 7001 digital recorder installed November 8, 1980. May 5, 2000 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability installed as the water level measuring and recording devices.

COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from October 31, 1956 to May 5, 2000 furnished from MDNR. May 5, 2000 to present, data processed by USGS and MDNR.

REMARKS - Furnished record rated fair (October 31, 1956 to May 5, 2000)because there are limited data (17 water level measurements) available to verify daily values. Water level measurements and site visit data has been archived by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and are not available for verification. Data from 05/05/2000 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (9 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair. Record from 10/01/2008 to 04/20/2010 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the record. Record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Record from 04/20/2010 to 08/02/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the record. Record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
