USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
364818094185301 Neosho Springfield Plateau Aquifer
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Osagean Series
LOCATION - Lat 36°48'17.7", long 94°18'53.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.18, T.24 N., R.31 W., Newton County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 11070207,
REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,262.94 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,265 ft NGVD29 from a topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

The period from 10/01/2008 to 02/23/2009 was modified after it was previously approved. The gage was reset -0.04 ft on 02/23/2009 and it was decided to smooth this jump in the hydrograph after sufficient data was collected to indicate the gage is more accurate than +/- 0.1 ft. The measuring point for the entire period of record was changed from -0.2 ft to -1.9 ft on 12/12/2012. This was done when it was determined that a previous measurment of the measuring point was found to be incorrect.
