- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.

Patapsco Formation
LOCATION - Lat 37°02'34.13", long 77°11'41.87" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Sussex County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 03010201, 1.78 miles southeast of intersection of State Highway 602 and State Highway 625, on the North side of Deer Path Lane 800 feet west of its intersection with State Highway 625, 2.27 miles northwest of Newville. Owner: Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 290 ft. Upper casing diameter 4.5 in; top of first opening 270 ft, bottom of last opening 290 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 121 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Undefined, 1.96 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 23, 2014 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger, 15-minute record interval. Prior to Nov. 25, 2014, occasional measurement with chalked tape.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Middle Potomac aquifer of Cretaceous age.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 97.41 ft below land-surface datum, Mar. 7, 2016; lowest recorded, 100.34 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 24 2015.
