LOCATION - Lat 37°32'07.9", long 90°18'06.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.20, T.33 N., R.7 E., Madison County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 08020202,
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Record from 05/01/1985 to 07/01/1988 has been revised, but the period March 1985 through Dec 1986 was previously published in BERKAS AND OTHERS, 1989, MDNR Water Resources Report No. 37.

Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 856.11 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 857 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 856.11 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.8 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 1, 1939 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 15, 1958 to present.
GAGE - Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed November 15, 1958. Stevens model 7001 digital recorder installed September 29, 1988. May 26, 2000 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability installed as the water level measuring and recording devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from November 15, 1958 to May 26, 2000 furnished from MDNR.
REMARKS - Furnished record rated poor (November 15, 1958 to November 25, 1980) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. There were several abrupt jumps in the data and could be due to the float getting hung. This is not justifiable and therefore is rated poor. Furnished record rated good (November 26, 1980 to October 21, 1991) because 40 water level measurements are available and are within 0.5 ft of the daily value measurement. This data has been archived by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and has been verified by USGS. Furnished record rated poor (October 22, 1991 to May 24, 2000) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. There were several abrupt jumps in the data and could be due to the float getting hung. This is not justifiable and therefore is rated poor. Data from 05/25/2000 to 06/10/2009 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (18 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good. Data from 06/11/2009 to 04/19/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 04/20/2010 to 06/30/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 07/01/2010 to 06/21/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
