LOCATION - Lat 37°33'16.18", long 77°12'52.79" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, New Kent County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080206, 0.5 mi northwest of intersection of State Highways 611 and 616, 2.8 mi north of Bottoms Bridge.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 330 ft. Upper casing diameter 4.5 in; top of first opening 290 ft, bottom of last opening 330 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 172 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 2.80 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 17, 2011 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2011 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 15-minute record interval.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Middle Potomac aquifer of Cretaceous age.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 208.24 ft below land-surface datum, May 3, 2014; lowest recorded, 210.75 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 24, 2015, but may have gone lower during period of missing record Sept. 16-22, 2015.
