GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,306.27 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.2 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 1, 2001 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 31, 2000 to present.
GAGE - From August 31, 2000 to 09/25/2001, the water level recorder was an analog digital recorder. From 08/31/2000 to 07/31/2007, water level measuring device was float and encoder setting in metal box on top of casing. From 09/25/2001 to present, the recorder has telemetry capabilities setting in metal box on top of casing. From 07/31/2007 to present, water level measuring device is a vented, submersible pressure transducer setting in metal box on top of casing.
COOPERATION - August 31, 2000 to present, data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Record processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from 08/31/2000 to 12/07/2009 has been processed by the USGS with 34 field water level measurements used to verify the record. This record is considered good. The record from 12/08/2009 to 10/07/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The period from 10/07/2010 to 08/31/2011 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/31/2011 to 09/11/2012 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data. The accuracy is +/- 0.2 ft which is a result of the precision of the transducer. The period from 09/12/2012 to 09/18/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The instrument appeared to drift within +/- 0.12 ft of the actual water level which may be a result of the precision of the transducer. The record from 09/19/2013 to 11/12/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 11/13/2014 to 03/20/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft.
