LOCATION - Lat 37°52'12.09", long 76°19'03.88" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Northumberland County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080102, 2 mi east of intersection of U.S. Highway 360 and State Highway 200, 3 mi west of Reedville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 85 ft. Upper casing diameter 4.5 in; top of first opening 45 ft, bottom of last opening 85 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 109 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 2.08 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 22, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 15-minute record interval. Prior to August 22, 2013, occasional measurement with chalked tape by Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division personnel.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Columbia aquifer of Quaternary age.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 55.64 ft below land-surface datum, July 28, 2014; lowest measured, 59.24 ft below land-surface datum, Nov. 29, 2012.
