Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Lamotte Sandstone
LOCATION - Lat 37°56'17.4", long 90°46'55.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.11, T.37 N., R.2 E., Washington County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140104,
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 920.57 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 930 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 920.57 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.5 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 1, 1949 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 26, 1988 to present.
GAGE - Stevens model 7001 digital recorder along with Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed July 26, 1988. June 2, 2000 to February 02, 2007; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability was installed as the water level recording device. From February 02, 2007 to present, water level measuring device is a vented, submersible pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from July 26, 1988 to June 1, 2000 furnished from MDNR.
REMARKS -

Furnished record rated good (July 26,1988 to February 14, 1992) based on 17 available water level measurements used to verify the recorded data. Recorded water levels and water level measurements are within 0.5 ft. Furnished record from February 15, 1992 to June 1, 2000 rated poor because no water level measurements or field data are available to verify daily values. There were several abrupt jumps in the data that could be caused by a hung float becoming free. This record cannot be verified and therefore is rated fair except for periods when the float sticks which is rated poor. Furnished record rated good (June 2, 2000 to November 10, 2009 based on 19 water level measurements made during this period to verify recorded water levels. The record from 11/11/2009 to 08/06/2010 is good based on 8 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/06/2010 to 12/29/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 12/29/2010 to 09/10/2012 is fair to poor based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 1 ft. The DCP is working properly but the water level measuring device (pressure transducer)appears to have an extreme drift problem. The transducer was raised 25 ft on 01/30/2012, the transducer may have been over its limit at this time accounting for the 2.88 ft descrepancy between the water level measurement and transducer reading during the site visit. This was the most extreme descrepancy for the period. The record from 09/11/2012 to 09/15/2013 is fair based on 4 water level measurements made during the period. 3 of these water levels were made after the float stuck and gage was restarted. Record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/16/2013 to 12/29/2014 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 12/30/2014 to 06/08/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/09/2016 to 02/28/2017 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/01/2017 to 09/04/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/05/2017 to 04/10/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 04/11/2018 to 08/20/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/21/2018 to 04/23/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/24/2019 to 10/21/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

All later correction notes and remarks can be found in RMS as of 10/22/2019.
