LOCATION - Lat 38°03'22", long 91°14'26" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.34, T.39 N., R.3 W., Crawford County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140102,
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was revised to 801.30 ft NAVD88 on Oct. 4, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published in error as 820 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements referenced to NGVD29 and NAVD88 were revised, based on changes to the land-surface datum.

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 801.3 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.9 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 17, 2008 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 17, 2008 to present.
GAGE - April 17, 2008 to present; DCP with telemetry capability. The water level recording device is a float and encoder.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Record from April 17, 2008 to present, is processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from April 17, 2008 to December 28, 2009 is good based on 11 water level measurements made during this period to verify recorded water levels. The record from 12/28/2009 to 07/01/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/01/2010 to 09/29/2011 is good based on 7 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. This station did require two prorated corrections based on the data from the field visits. Prorated corrections ar not common for float type measuring equipment but these corrections fit the given data. The record from 09/29/2011 to 08/29/2012 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/30/2012 to 09/15/2013 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/16/2013 to 01/04/2015 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 01/05/2015 to 09/12/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
