USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
381217091104501 Sullivan
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Eminence-Potosi Dolomites
LOCATION - Lat 38°12'16.9", long 91°10'46.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.17, T.40 N., R.2 W., Franklin County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140103,
REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 989.08 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 985 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

On 10/06/2010, data from 01/28/2008 to 06/09//2008 was revised by +0.05 ft after being previously approved.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 989.08 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: DNR DCP platform shelf, 1.3 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1962 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 13, 2007 to present.
GAGE - March 13, 2007 to present; DCP with telemetry capability, and float and encoder installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Data processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - One characteristic of the well is that the float occaisonally sticks and the water level jumps (typically less than 0.2 ft) when the float becomes free. The flat record prior to float releasing (greater than 0.1 ft) has been deleted. Data from 03/13/2007 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (7 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good. Data from 10/01/2008 to 01/04/2010 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. Data from 01/04/2010 to 08/24/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 08/24/2010 to 10/24/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 10/24/2011 to 07/23/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/24/2012 to 09/15/2013 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/16/2013 to 01/04/2015 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 01/05/2015 to 07/11/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 07/12/2016 to 02/01/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 02/02/2017 to 03/17/2017 is good and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft, and the data from 03/18/2017 to 07/19/2017 is fair based on a block correction of 1.15 that was applied during that period to correct for possible encoder tape slip and 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data. The record from 07/20/2017 to 03/06/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/07/2018 to 09/10/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/11/2018 to 03/11/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/12/2019 to 10/01/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
