USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
384534093431101 Warrensburg
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Canadian Series
LOCATION - Lat 38°45'33.0", long 93°43'10.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.30, T.46 N., R.25 W., Johnson County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10300104,
REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 771.81 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 770 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

The data from 06/27/2001 to 10/05/2009 was modified after it was previously set to 'Approved'. It was discovered that a measuring point height correction of 1.5 ft was needed for the period but was not previously applied. In addition, the following corrections were applied to previously 'Approved' data: Record from 03/13/2002 to 10/08/2003 was revised with a prorated correction from zero to +0.16 ft. Record from 06/14/2006 to 09/11/2007 was revised with a prorated correction from +0.10 to +0.40 ft. Record from 09/11/2007 to 09/02/2008 was revised with a prorated correction from zero to +0.06 ft.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 771.81 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.5 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 13, 2002 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 28, 2001 to present.
GAGE - June 28, 2001 to present; DCP with telemetry capability and vented, submersible pressure transducer installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Record processed by the USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS -

Data from 06/28/2001 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (6 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair because of the lack of measurements made during this timeand because the gage typically had to be reset from 0.1 to 0.4 ft each site visit.

Data from 10/01/2008 to 10/06/2009 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the record and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft.

Data from 10/06/2009 to 07/05/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

Data from 07/06/2010 to 07/25/2011 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. However, there were over 2 months of missing record when the pressure transducer malfunctioned.

Data from 07/25/2011 to 08/15/2012 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

The record from 08/16/2012 to 11/12/2013 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.

The record from 11/13/2013 to 11/23/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.

The record from 11/24/2014 to 05/17/2016 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. with the exception of the period from 05/20/2015 to 12/01/2015 in which the P/T was believed to be going bad and stopped reporting water levels on 11/10/2015. During the period from 05/20/2015 to 12/01/2015 the recorded data is accurate to +/- 0.50 ft.

The record from 05/18/2016 to 11/29/2016 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.

The record from 11/30/2016 to 07/25/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/-  0.10 ft.

The record from 07/26/2017 to 01/23/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/-  0.20 ft.

The record from 01/24/2018 to 07/11/2018  is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/-  0.05 ft.

The record from 07/12/2018 to 02/12/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft.

The record from 02/13/2019 to 09/03/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
