GROUNDWATER RECORDS
GAGE - From February 03, 2010 to present, the water level recording device is a DCP with telemetry capability setting in a metal box on top of casing. From February 03, 2010 to present, the water level measuring device is a float driven encoder.
COOPERATION - From February 03, 2010 to present, the water level data is furnished by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). From February 03, 2010 to present, the water level record is processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - The float has a tendency to stick in this well for short periods of time (usually less than 12 hours). Data 'jumps' when the float becomes free are typically less than 0.1 ft. The record from 02/03/2010 to 07/17/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 07/18/2010 to 10/18/2011 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 10/19/2011 to 08/13/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft The record from 08/14/2012 to 09/24/2013 is fair based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The float would regularly become stuck throughout the period and then jump when free. Jumps were usually less than 0.20 ft. The record from 09/25/2013 to 01/14/2015 is fair based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft.
