  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
390207092570801 Arrow Rock
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Burlington Limestone
LOCATION - Lat 39°02'07.1", long 92°57'08.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.12, T.49 N., R.19 W., Cooper County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10300102,
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was revised to 689.23 ft NAVD88 on Aug. 9, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published in error as 700 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements referenced to NGVD29 and NAVD88 were revised, based on changes to the land-surface datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 689.23 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of DCP shelf, 1.3 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 29, 1962 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 29, 1962 to present
GAGE - Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed March 30, 1962. Stevens model 7001 digital recorder installed March 13, 1990. September 28, 2000 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability were installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from 03/29/1962 to 09/27/2000 furnished from MDNR.
REMARKS - Furnished record rated good (January 15, 1980 to October 28, 1991) and was verified with 22 water level measurements which were available and are within 0.5 ft of the daily value measurement. This strip chart data was available from the MDNR and has been verified by USGS. Furnished record rated fair (March 29, 1962 to January 14, 1980 & October 29, 1991 to September 27, 2000) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. This data has been archived by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and is not available for verification. Data from 09/28/2000 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS which was verified with 23 field water level measurements made during the period. This record is considered good, except for the period 08/25/2006 to 06/01/2007 which is poor. Data from 10/01/2008 to 12/14/2009 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. Data from 12/14/2009 to 09/09/2010 is good considering the unresponsive nature of the well. This is based on 4 water level measurements made in the well during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 09/09/2010 to 05/16/2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made in the well during the period to verify the recorded data. The float has a tendency to stick in the well and usually when the float does stick and then frees itself, the hydrograph typically shows a jump of less than 0.1 ft. This record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 05/17/2011 to 04/11/2012 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/12/2012 to 11/06/2013 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/07/2013 to 11/23/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/24/2014 to 05/16/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 05/17/2016 to 12/13/2016 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 12/14/2016 to 12/18/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 12/19/2017 to 08/28/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/29/2018 to 02/04/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 02/05/2019 to 09/24/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.
