GROUNDWATER RECORDS
GAGE - From May 19, 2010 to present, the water level recording device is a DCP with telemetry capability setting in a metal box on top of the casing. From May 19, 2010 to present, the water level measuring device is a submerged, vented pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - From May 19, 2010 to present, the water level data was furnished by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). From May 19, 2010 to present, the water level record was processed by the USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - On July 22, 2010, the MDNR visited the site to perform site maintenance. They pumped water from the well to try to improve the hydraulic properties. It took more than one month for the well to recover about 6 feet indicating the well is in poor hydraulic connection with the aquifer. The record from 05/19/2010 to 09/02/2010 is within +/-0.05 ft of the 3 water level measurements made in the well during the period. The record from 09/02/2010 to 08/16/2011 is good and accurate within +/- 0.05 ft of 4 water level measurements with only two measurements being time stamped. The record from 08/16/2011 to 07/25/2012 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded record and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/25/2012 to 08/06/2013 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/07/2013 to 08/26/2014 is good based on 3 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/27/2014 to 01/25/2016 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 01/26/2016 to 11/14/2016 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
