LOCATION - Lat 40°09'17.9", long 76°49'22.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, York County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050305, at I83 south rest stop between exits 34 and 35.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 182 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 41 ft, bottom of last opening 182 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 41 ft, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 470 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of instrument shelf; MODIFIED DATE FOR AQ MIGRATION; 03/07/2001, 2.25 ft above land-surface datum, May. 18, 1986 to present. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 7, 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval since April 2023; prior, 60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Daily mean water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily maximum water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.
