LOCATION - Lat 40°14'07.83", long 106°12'31.50" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.11, T.3 N., R.79 W., Grand County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010001, 11.8 mi north of U.S. Highway 40, 19.0 mi west of Colorado State Highway 125, and 37.0 mi southeast of Steamboat Springs, in Arapahoe National Forest.

INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping-bucket rain gage with satellite telemetry. Elevation of gage is 8,284 ft above NAVD of 1988, from digital map.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - (seasonal only) Maximum daily precipitation, 2.26 inches, Aug 24, 2023.
