- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 41°42'39.66", long 72°03'33.00" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Windham County, CT, Hydrologic Unit 01100002, hillside site at James V. Spignesi, Jr. Wildlife Area (prior to March 29, 1999 known as Pudding Hill Wildlife Management area). Off State Rt. 97 along north side of field road about 3,300 ft east of Rt. 97, Scotland; Scotland quadrangle. Owner: Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 26 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 24.5 ft, bottom of last opening 26 ft. Bored, unused, water-table well, PVC casing, slotted 24.5 to 26 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 327.13 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Measure from casing at mark inside enclosure, 2.11 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 2, 1984 to Sep. 27, 2021; Measure from casing at mark inside enclosure, 329.24 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 19, 2016 to Sep. 27, 2021; Measure from top of casing at black arrow inside enclosure, 2.15 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 28, 2021 to present; Measure from top of casing at black arrow inside enclosure, 329.28 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 28, 2021 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1984 to current year.
GAGE - Prior to November 8, 1988 measurements made monthly with a chalked tape by Natural Resources Center personnel. Water-level data recorder with 60-minute recording interval installed November 8, 1988, removed 1992. October 1993 through September 1994 measurements made biweekly with a chalked tape; October 1994 through September 1996 measurements made biweekly with an electric tape; October 1996 through May 17, 2007 measurements made monthly with an electric tape. Submersible pressure transducer/data logger May 17, 2007 to current year, collects 1-hour water-level data. All measurements since October 1993 made by USGS personnel.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 4.17 ft below land-surface datum, Mar. 31, 2010 (measured); lowest water level measured, 16.00 ft below land-surface datum, Oct 2, 1984 (measured).
