LOCATION - Lat 18°16'58.13", long 65°42'03.84" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Fajardo Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010005, on left bank, 1 mi (1.6 km) south from Peñón School, 4.5 mi (7.2 km) southwest from Fajardo plaza, and 6.8 mi (10.9 km) south from Luquillo plaza.


DRAINAGE AREA - 9.47 mi². (28.4 km2).


REVISIONS HISTORY - Revised - in 2021 based on ArcHydro 2020, more detailed topo used.


SURFACE-WATER RECORDS


PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1, 2003 to current year.


GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite telemetry at station. Elevation of gage is 213 ft (65 m) above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, from topographic map. 


REMARKS - Established for low-flow discharges, no stage-discharge definition above 6.33 ft (20.8 m) and 473 ft³/s (13.4 m3/s). Low flow affected by diversions for water supply about 60 ft (18.3 m) downstream from gaging station.
