50125780 LAGO LUCCHETTI AT DAMSITE NEAR YAUCO, PR
LOCATION - Lat 18°05'38.14", long 66°51'54.19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Yauco Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, at Antonio Lucchetti Dam on Río Yauco and 3.9 mi (6.3 km) north of Yauco.
DRAINAGE AREA - 17.4 mi². (45.1 km2).
REVISIONS HISTORY - Datum of gage was previously reported in the site file as 393.7 ft (120.0 m) above NGVD29 and LMSL-Old PR. NGVD29 datum does not exist in Puerto Rico and the correct LMSL-Old PR elevation is 500 ft (152.4 m), published historical records did not reflect this site file typo. Revised to PRVD02 Datum of 499.8 ft. (152.3 m) in October 2022.  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 7, 1989 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite and radio telemetry at station. Datum of gage is 499.8 ft. (152.3 m) above Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02) and 0.2 ft. (0.06 m) below Local Mean Sea Level (LMSL- Old PR).
REMARKS - Lago Lucchetti was completed in 1952. The dam is on Río Yauco and is a unit of the Southwestern Puerto Rico Project. It provides 16,500 acre-ft (20.3 hm3) of usable storage for power generation and irrigation. The dam is a concrete gravity structure with a total length of 591 ft (180 m), a maximum height of 178 ft (54 m), and a maximum width at the base of 150 ft (46 m). An ungated, overflow type spillway with a clear length of 171 ft (52 m), and a maximum capacity of 62,800 ft³/s (1,778 m3/s) at a design head of 20 ft (6 m).
