Island National Seashore, along south-side shoulder of Cedar
Court (Burma Road) about 165 ft east of Pine Street,
Kismet.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 15 ft. Upper casing
diameter 2 in; top of first opening 5 ft, bottom of last
opening 10 ft.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2005 to September 2023.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder installed October 18, 2005;
15-minute recording interval. Periodic manual measurements made
by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Water level affected by tidal fluctuation and
surface flooding from precipitation.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level
recorded, 4.68 ft above sea level, August 28, 29 and 30, 2011;
lowest recorded, 1.65 ft above sea level, January 12,
2018.
