Station gage imageSTATION.--01478185 MIDDLE BRANCH WHITE CLAY CREEK NEAR WEST GROVE, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 39`49'57", long 75`50'42", Chester County, Hydrologic Unit 02040205, on the left bank, downstream side of W Woodview Rd, 0.5 miles north of the Kennett Oxford Bypass, 1.2 miles northwest of West Grove Boro.
DRAINAGE AREA.--4.68 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--February 2020 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and water-quality monitor. Datum of gage is 396.60 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from single-base GNSS rapid static survey. Prior to March 14, 2022, the datum was erroneously reported as 406 ft above NGVD 88. Satelite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for this station is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the PAWSC Downingtown Field Office.
