LOCATION - Lat 34°10'10.2", long 102°24'14.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lamb County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12050002, on TX FM 1055, 4.7 miles south of Earth, TX, 10.6 miles north of Amherst, TX in the pasture 0.3 miles northeast of the Excel Energy "Plant X" generating station.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 202 ft. Upper casing diameter 10.75 in; top of first opening 99 ft, bottom of last opening 202 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 3,665.88 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: MP ended after updating altitude elevation by RTK leveling and bringing into NAVD88, MP alt 36, 1 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 4, 2011 to Jun. 19, 2017; MP Alt 3666.88 NAVD88, Site and MP updated by RTK leveling,, 1 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 20, 2017 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1950 to May 2016 (periodic measurements by Texas Water Development Board), Feb. 2011 to Mar. 2016 (periodic measurements by USGS), June 2016 to current year.
REMARKS - Water-level recorder. Satellite telemeter at station. Prior to June 16, 2016, available daily water level record was maintained by the Texas Water Development Board.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level since real-time data collection began, 146.46 ft below land-surface datum, June 16, 2016. Lowest water level since real-time data collection began, 151.37 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 30, 2020.
