LOCATION - Lat 41°47'53.3", long 111°04'14.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.07, T.12 N., R.8 E., Rich County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16010101, on left bank approximately 3.8 mi upstream from Twin Creek, approximately 5 mi upstream from Utah-Wyoming State Line, and approximately 11 mi northeast of Randolph, Utah.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,616 mi², from topographic maps.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WRD UT-74-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1943 to September 1992. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP UT-74-1. June 2006 to June 2016 (no winter records).

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,200 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river profile map. Prior to August 17, 1971, 0.2 mile upstream at different datum. August 17, 1971 to September 30, 1986 at datum 10.0 ft lower.
REMARKS - 
Water Year 2016 (seasonal record): records are fair.
Water Year 2015 (seasonal record): records are good. 
Water Year 2014 (seasonal record): records are good, except estimated records are poor. 

Diversions for irrigation above station.  Flow regulated by Woodruff Narrows Reservoir (capacity 
57,300 acre-feet) since January 1962.
